This Tuesday, help Save the Post Office by standing with local postal workers in West Hartford!

We stand proudly in solidarity with all USPS workers as they fight to continue timely delivery of prescription medication, paychecks, vote by mail, packages, and so much more.

The Connecticut labor movement will not let Postmaster General Louis DeJoy dismantle our postal service. Pressure has already forced DeJoy to stall some of his operational changes, but our work is far from done.

DeJoy is not restoring mail-sorting machines or otherwise repairing damage already done, nor is he resuming adequate overtime pay, which has long ensured the timely delivery of the mail.

Stand with postal workers as they fight to Save the Post Office:

Date/Time: Tuesday, August 25 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.
Location: Area of Bishops Corner Post Office, 12 Crossroads Plz, West Hartford
Rally: Gather on the sidewalk areas at the intersection
Questions: Email office@ctaflcio.org with questions

Please wear a mask and observe social distancing.

Let's keep up the pressure and continue to publicly proclaim our commitment to save the post office. We won't stop until the post office is fully protected, all sorting machines and collection boxes that disappeared under DeJoy’s watch are replaced, and every vote is counted.
