Connecticut AFL-CIO Endorses Slate of Pro-Worker Candidates

NEW HAVEN – Delegates representing nearly 230 union leaders from 87 local unions across Connecticut voted at the Connecticut AFL-CIO’s Sixteenth Biennial Political Convention to endorse a slate of pro-worker candidates committed to protecting workers’ rights and advancing policies that strengthen working families.

The convention brought together 87 locals representing 22 international unions at the Omni New Haven Hotel. Workers at the Omni are represented by UNITE HERE Local 217.
