Statement on EPI Report on Public Sector Compensation

Lori J. Pelletier, President of the Connecticut AFL-CIO, made the following statement in response to the EPI report on public sector compensation:

“The Economic Policy Institute’s findings on public sector compensation are sorely needed in what has become an increasingly fact-free state.

“The Yankee Institute's intentionally deceitful propaganda and flawed methodology are never more evident than in how they cherry picked information to fit the anti-union narrative their corporate backers want to sell.

“Connecticut legislators don't need Wall Street and corporate bias to build a fair economy that works for everyone. What they need is reliable information, and once again the Yankee Institute has failed miserably.”
