The John J. Driscoll United Labor Agency will be hosting an event to pack 10,000 meals to benefit their “Labor of Love Backpack Program” and their food pantry families. They will use an assembly line to package 5,000 nutritious macaroni & cheese meals and 5,000 hearty apple oatmeal meals.

But they need volunteers to get it all done!

To RSVP & for questions: contact Katherine Mamed at KatherineM@ctula.org or 860-258-6640, ext. 224.

The ULA is looking for 30-40 volunteers to help out at their event. So come spend a couple of hours among friends and help out families in need. We also encourage you to help spread the word to your brothers & sisters!

Click here for a flyer that you can share and use to help with turnout.

If you would like to make a donation, $1.50 is enough for six meals! 10,000 meals cost $2,500. Any amount you or your local can donate is greatly appreciated.
