Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we will not be gathering in person for this year's Workers Memorial Day. We will, however, commemorate the day by posting a video on April 28 at noon to recognize those we have lost and continue the fight for the health and safety of all workers.
On April 28, the unions of the AFL-CIO will observe Workers Memorial Day to remember those who have suffered and died on the job and to renew the fight for safe jobs. This year, we will come together to defend hard-won victories by working people from attacks by anti-worker politicians and business groups. We will commit to fighting until all workers have safe jobs and the freedom to form unions to seek a better future.
