At the Connecticut AFL-CIO's Thirteenth Biennial Political Convention today, delegates endorsed pro-worker candidates from the U.S. House to the State House.

We are grateful to Gov. Lamont for signing an executive order today that will help hundreds, and possibly thousands, of essential workers who were stricken with COVID-19.

"Joe Biden is a lifelong supporter of workers and has fought his entire career for living wages, health care, retirement security and civil rights," said AFL-CIO President Richard Trumka.

While unemployment has skyrocketed because of the COVID-19 pandemic, the combined wealth of America's billionaires increased by $282 billion.
